With the new Current Expected Credit Loss standard, or CECL, now in effect, community financial institutions (CFIs) are faced with managing a myriad of new data, modeling, forecasting and documentation considerations. With new requirements comes new expertise and time constraints. To assist CFIs in navigating the ongoing transition and ensuring compliance with this new standard, Abrigo, in partnership with the Graduate School of Banking (GSB), is hosting a two-day workshop filled with over six hours of educational content aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to confidently navigate the CECL landscape consistent with emerging best practices.
This workshop will be led by Abrigo industry experts, Regan Camp and Rob Newberry who have worked with hundreds of CFIs of various sizes and complexities in preparing for and producing credible, efficient, and compliant CECL calculations.
Open office hours will be provided by Regan and Rob on Friday, April 25 to help answer any outstanding questions generated from the material covered in the workshop.
